1. National Minimum Wage Adjustments

The National Minimum Wage rose to AUD 26.44 per hour (AUD 1,004.90 per standard 38-hour week), representing an hourly increase of AUD 1.49 for award-free employees.

2. Modern Award Rates (Hospitality, Retail, Aged Care)

For international students employed under industry awards such as the Restaurant Industry Award, General Retail Industry Award, or Aged Care Award, base pay rates and weekend/public holiday penalty rates have been increased by 4.75%.
