- New South Wales (NSW): Under Service NSW regulations, temporary visa holders arriving on or after 1 July 2023 may use their overseas licence for a maximum of 6 consecutive months, after which they must convert to an NSW licence.
- Victoria: VicRoads requires individuals residing in Victoria for more than 6 months to convert to a Victorian driver licence.
- Queensland: Temporary visa holders (such as Student Visa 500) may drive indefinitely on a valid overseas licence provided it remains unexpired, suspended, or cancelled.
2. Mandatory NAATI English Translations
