If you are granted an Australian visa, there are two important details you absolutely must not overlook: MUST NOT ARRIVE AFTER and LENGTH OF STAY. So, what’s the difference between these two? Let De1 explain — let’s go…
MUST NOT ARRIVE AFTER is the latest date you’re allowed to enter (or re-enter) Australia.
LENGTH OF STAY refers to the maximum amount of time you’re permitted to stay in Australia per entry. (For example, with a Visa 600, you may be allowed to stay for 3 months from the date you enter Australia.) If this is listed as a specific date, then your visa only allows you to stay in Australia until that date.
In some other cases, you may stay in Australia for the full length of stay allowed from your last entry, even if that stay extends beyond the “Must not arrive after” date.
