The Bachelor of Engineering Technology is a flexible program that allows you to choose a major in traditional engineering fields or pursue a career as an aircraft maintenance engineer through the Avionics (Aircraft Maintenance – Avionics) major.
Choosing a major such as Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering will provide you with a broad foundation of technical knowledge, in-depth training in software, simulation, and modelling, as well as the ability to assist engineers in technology design and system management for engineering projects.
The Bachelor of Engineering Technology is designed to develop your skills and enable you to integrate your understanding of engineering concepts with modern technology. You can select from various majors, allowing you to pursue a career as an Engineering Technologist in traditional engineering disciplines or as an aircraft maintenance engineer.
If you choose to major in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, the program will equip you with the skills to creatively apply, adapt, and integrate engineering practices to address technical challenges and problems in communities, society, and the environment. You can further tailor your studies by selecting from a range of streams that align with your interests and career goals.
