From 1 July 2026, statutory filing fees for visa refusal and cancellation appeals lodged with the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia were officially increased.
Updated Tribunal and Court Fee Schedule
- ART Migration Review Application Fee: AUD 3,727 (50% refundable if the decision is remitted or set aside).
- ART Protection Review Fee: AUD 2,293.
- Federal Circuit and Family Court (Judicial Review): AUD 4,180 for standard individual applicants.
Applicants facing visa refusals are strongly advised to seek legal advice promptly, as statutory lodgement deadlines (usually 21 to 28 days) are strictly non-extendable.
